Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: None (gen)
Rating: PG
Spoilers: AHBL II
Feedback: Is snuggled like a firstborn child. Even if it's ugly.

Summary: Because Disneyland is too far away, and Mickey creeps him out.

Note: This is not quite a story. More like a love letter.

Time to bite the bullet. This has been hanging out for a bit now, waiting for me to stop waffling. Once upon a time, [profile] docmichelle asked for NCIS and the positive qualities of tea. Um, this is... kind of that. Oops. If it's any consolation, the last line came first.

See, I started out being hesitant to post it because it's a new fandom, and I couldn't stop tweaking all the words, and I worry about having the characters down, etc., etc. And then I stumbled onto this, which is strong and brilliant and has a few things in common with the following fic.

But... I kind of like this one anyway, and if it doesn't go up soon, it will be Jossed at birth. So, in the interests of halting my own circuitous mental pacing, I'm putting it out there.

And yes, that is a lot of whining for something less than 1,000 words.

Fandom: NCIS
Rating: G
Pairing: Gen, although I'm convinced they're all a little bit in love with each other
Spoilers: Twilight, Kill Ari, Hiatus
Summary: There are only two people he can have this conversation with, and Abby is busy tonight.

Blame this one on Shakespeare for making me write around him rather than on him. Apparently, it makes me allegorical.

In my defense, it is rather short.

Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: None (gen)
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: Um… metaphorical ones? Even those are vague.
Feedback: Is snuggled like a firstborn child. Even if it's ugly.
Summary: The sea and the sky speak. Life happens.

Genesis )
stillane: (Dean and death.)
I have neither excuse nor explanation for this one. This is your brain on insomnia? Not my usual, really. Short and strange, but hopefully interesting.

Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: None (gen)
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: Not quite.
Feedback: Is snuggled like a firstborn child. Even if it's ugly.
Summary: The power or faculty of discerning objects not present to the senses; the ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception.

Clairvoyance )
stillane: (Dean's ghosts.)

I... cannot explain this one. It just is. It's a little weird; an experiment in perspective writing, if you will.

Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: None (gen)
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: Possibly for Nightmare, although it’s more conceptual than plot-oriented.

Feedback: Is snuggled like a firstborn child. Even if it's ugly.
Summary: Sam, on a bad day and from the outside.

stillane: (Metallicar to the rescue.)

To all those on my flist who haven't yet bowed down to Supernatural: I'm sorry.

To those who have: I'm sorry. I killed the Metallicar. Or, well, I will. It would take longer to explain than it would to read the fic.

I seem to be becoming frighteningly prolific. Apparently, January term will do that to you. It's like solitary confinement, but with better food and entertainment. Huh.

This is really quite short.

Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: None (gen)
Rating: PG, absolutely arbitrarily
Spoilers: References a single line from Scarecrow, but this shouldn't harm you if you haven't seen the ep yet. Come to think of it, if you've missed Bloody Mary and everything that comes after, this might not make a great deal of sense to you. Otherwise, go for it.

Feedback: Is snuggled like a firstborn child. Even if it's ugly.
Summary: Sam is wise.

Yes, so, I've returned to the land of the living, and am gradually catching up on all the fun things that I missed. In celebration, I bring fic in a fandom none of you are actually into, that I know of. Sorry. If you watch Supernatural, yay! If not... well, I promise to finish one of the ten or so SG:A tales currently hanging out on my hardrive soon. Really.

How to explain this one… Ever heard the teaser for an episode, or seen the trailer, and written it in your head in preparation? Then, you find out that you were totally off base, and the story you’ve got going is not the one you’ll see on screen (and given that I’m primarily a slasher, you can guess how often my preferred plots make it there).

This would be what happened when I saw the December promo for Supernatural, and more specifically the bits of Faith. Having read a few spoilers since then, I can assure you that this is not what happens therein. Not even close, actually. If you’ve seen that promo and/or the one aired after Scarecrow, none of what follows should spoil you. More author’s notes are at the end. Feedback is, as always, worshipped and adored.

Still with me? Bless you and your tenacity.

Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: None (gen)
Rating: PG-13 for language, just a bit
Spoilers: None, so long as you know the basic premise of Faith
Summary: Sometimes it’s where you least expect it. Sometimes, it’s with you all along.
