Yet more commentary:

Numb3rs

Yay! Well, okay not yay, because there was agent death, but it wasn't Colby, so yay.

Larry has a crush. Maybe she can't drive his car, but he's still got a thing for Megan.

"Like the ability to bear children?" Hee. Larry's gone all geeky poetic, and Charlie just cuts it right down to the facts.

Hmm. Child porn seems to be the crime of the month.

Don practically snatching that photo data from Charlie? Oh, that was Don going fully big brother. He hides it ever so badly in loss-of-agent-angst, but that was all about him not wanting Charlie anywhere near this kind of ugliness.

"Listen, hardass..." Wow, that was harsh, for Alan. That whole conversation was. Don looked rather dumbstruck, really, before he got defensive. Not sure I buy the whole, "Don't choose this life for Charlie" bit. If you think about it, Don would be diverting Charlie onto the less psychologically damaging track.

"I know a shortcut through metallurgy." I have no idea why, but that cracked me up.

More with the Megan crushing. It's really very cute.

Ooo, Deep!Larry.

Tension-filled silence. Ouch. Also, brushed off apology. These boys really need to have a heart-to-heart. Not to mention a hug.

Oh. My. God. "Get on your knees, bitch." Hah.

Megan's going to go into psych mode. Yep, there it is.

In summary: Colby Lives! There needs to be far more resolution between Don and Charlie, but... Colby lives!

Up next: Sniper Lou! I love him!

Yeah, this was a funky one. I wasn't really hit by the pacing issues, but then I may have been willing to forgive more than I should have in response to the non-death of Colby. It was a little rocky emotionally - more in a, "Wait, would they really react that way?" sense than in reference to the actual upheaval. I thought Alan in particular was a little off, but that might just be me.

I'm writing this after a 12 hour roadtrip home, so I can't promise it's all that coherent. Sorry.
