I am endlessly relieved to know I'm not losing my mind, or at least not going solo at it. I remember thinking vaguely hm-y thoughts after the first movie, but I chalked it up to forgetting to remove the slash goggles after driving. This one, though... Seriously. Impassioned speeches, conquered phobias, starting their own herd... They're just so damn cute.

They're cute. They should not be cute. There are actual laws of nature about that sort of thing, and yet... Yep. Adorable. That bit where Diego freaks the hell out at the thought of Sid going away? That was not even subtle. And how much do I love the fact that they parallel the great romantic rescue scene with... the other great romantic rescue scene. Hee.

I know! I didn't think Ice Age 2 was as good as the original, but I had to admit, it was even more slashy. And now sometime in the future there's a third one coming out! With highly improbably dinosaurs! Yay!

Ok, now that is just...I always thought they were BFF, really close BFF. Cute and adorable. Back when I was at the hospital, loopy and high from all the drugs, I had your reaction (my family brought me Ice Age 1 & 2 for a rewatch), but then I thought it was because, you know, I was stoned beyond measure. So I wasn't hallucinating?!? Huh!
