Numbers 2x05

Okay. There should be more David/Colby slash out there. They've been making with the eyefucks for a while now, and they spend most of their work time paired off with one another. Then came the first three minutes of this ep. You know damn well that "What the hell were you doing?" was not directed at the forger. Colby (and does this guy have a first name? At least, I'm assuming that's his last name. He's joining the rapidly growing ranks of Name-limited New Guys.) just played chicken with an oncoming car. Statistically speaking, that was not all that bright. It worked, but it wasn't all that bright.

Is it just me, or has Charlie's hair gone Pre-Raphaelite? It's all... halo-y.
Hee. Or chia-pet.

Crap. I got distracted and didn't write down Larry's line about his name becoming a term for... something. Damn. Memory like a sieve.

Oh, hey. Potential Victim of the Week is really cute. He must be evil. I never fall for the good ones. He's named Gabriel, though. I have an inexplicable kink for that name.

So, the Columbian PR lady is saying that the Pretty One's death would cause a public outcry. What if that's exactly what the bad guys are going for? Maybe this is less about threat ellimination and more about creating a martyr? (Yeah, I know I'm a paranoid weirdo. It works for me.)

"Assassination Specialist", indeed. That little huff and lip-quirk about Kennedy? Charlie knows the truth. That, and he rattled off the defenestration stats very quickly. Way back in the sniper episode, wasn't he an "accidentally" crack shot?

Oh, Amita, you poor fool. You chase the guy for all that time, and then you give up like that?

Alright, the scene where they burst in on the guy with the guns in the back room? David was very nearly on top of Colby and looking all kinds of panicky. Just sayin'.

Chalk one up to paranoia, by the way.
