That is some wild weather. I have to say, we don't have anything quite like that around here. Actually, the biggest weather-related oddity of late is the general lack of winter-ness. There hasn't been a single real, honest snow yet. *looks around nervously and knocks nearest available wooden surface*

Not that I'm bucking for anything above 100, but I wouldn't mind another 30 degrees or so, before too long. I don't think I was meant to live in places where there is winter. Which explains, of course, why I keep heading to northern climes for educational purposes. *headdesk* Glutton for punishment, that's me.

Hope the firey predictions are mistaken, and that you get some fresh air in there instead. I can't imagine the smoke is good for you, being under the weather to begin with. (And yes, I did totally type that in all sincerity, and only catch the enormously dorky pun on the re-read.) *g*
