I write fic, and people read it. This makes me happy. They leave comments, and this makes me happy as well. Considering the fact that I haven't written creatively in about 15 years*, this all makes me very happy.

Okay, I'll stop sounding like a ten year old now. Class resumes tomorrow, although I've got a reprieve in The Course from Hell, owing to its recent midterm. Why, oh why, will it not just die? Oh well, into every life must fall some biochem. I just wish it would keep right on falling, back to the fiery pits from whence it came.

In summary, class may suck, but people read my stuff. Whee. That is all.

*Edited to say: Yeah, I really need more sleep. Try 10 years, since 15 would put me somewhere in kindergarten.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Apparently, numbers aren't my friend either - hyperbole, on the other hand... You are quite correct, it is closer to 10 years than 15, and I'm still working throught the joys of undergraduate work. Basically, creative writing has somehow passed me by since about 6th grade. In the meantime, essays and reading responses and (recently) the thesis from hell have been eating up all my writing energies. Over the years, I lurked through a number of fandoms to keep me sane. I was in my junior year of undergrad before I turned around and went, "Well, damn, what happened to that kid who used to write all the stories?" Hence, the LJ.
