Help me, Oh Great and Wonderful Flist! You're my only hope!

Single white female seeks beta. Preferably more than one. Should have experience in the SG:A fandom and the ability to bitchslap a comma. Should be willing to read over one teeny, tiny challenge story - okay, so one 7,000-words-at-the-halfway-point challenge story - and give constructive criticism. Bonus points for those who can make me cry; I'm really remarkably thick-skinned. If you hate it, you are free to say so. All applicants should probably like McKay and Sheppard, and probably support the pairing thereof. Supporters of other ships are welcome as well, but will most likely not enjoy quite so much. Fear not! It is thus far remarkably low on crack, although I hope at least some of it is high on humor.

The catch: Only that it needs to be posted on March 1st, so the beta magic must be done by then.

So, any takers? Please? *bats eyelashes*

Thank you! Would you like what I've got thus far, or would you prefer to wait for completion? I'm terribly unfamiliar with beta protocal.

It's up to you, really. If you're feeling like you want some eyes on it now, go ahead and send it my way. Email's in my userinfo. :)

I'll gladly look it over for you.
My beta experience is kinda limited so far, but if that's not an issue, just mail it to veselina32[at]gmail[dot]com when you want.

Thanks so much! New betas and old, all are welcome. It's not quite finished yet; would you rather wait for the whole thing (hopefully by the end of the week) or should I send over what I've got now?

Whatever works better for you. I'm in the middle of my exams right now, so I could always use some procrastination :D

Ooh. You're functionally bifictional and I think I would be jealous if I wasn't all busy anticipating the SGAness. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

Hee. "Functionally Bifictional". It makes me sound like a gloriously troubled recovering addict. Except without the recovery.

So, can I tempt you to look at it? I won't ask for a serious down-and-dirty beta, just a read through. I finished it this afternoon and I want to share it very badly. The next month until the reveal is going to squish me. On the other hand, I will understand most heartily if you are swamped. Tis the season for it.

(BTW, would you mind terribly being nominated for the Numb3rs awards thingy? I would like to put your Larrylicious bit forward among the drabbles, but wanted to make sure you were amenable.)

Hey, awesome! I'll be the preview looky-loo. *g* I'm always up for some glorious!betanessfun.

And the day I object to someone nominating me for writing awards is the day I need my brain checked, or at least better-functioning meds. Thanks so much!!

Lastly, the launch date for my firstborn is currently set for sometime later this week. I was not expecting to be nervous, yet here I am. *twitch*

The firstborn! Yay! *dance of joy ensues*

You have absolutely no call to be nervous. Judging by the first part - and leaving all considerations of the fact that you write beautifully aside - it will be a masterpiece of staggering genius. You should be very zen and confident. Pebbles fear you, Grasshopper :>

The Monster (so named because it is my longest fic to date) is on its way. This one is my nerve-wracker. I'm so much more at ease writing deep thoughts than romps. Go figure.

Thanks again for the previewing!
