Hee. Ruby could babysit by phone. Apparently, Sesame Street soothes the savage beast, too. The parents have taken to plopping his cage down in front of the nearest available source of PBS. There's probably some sort of commentary there about our society, with even our pets being raised by the TV, but it works. *shrug*

I don't think I've recharged enough from the last puppy experience. I seem to be growing weary much more easily this time around, although I don't want to. I think it's because Wyatt has just gotten almost perfectly trained - I say almost because stay is still a difficult concept, it seems - and it feels a little like being the bear that went over the mountain. And then, of course, the critter gets all adorable and wants access to my lap to curl up and sleep. *sigh* All will be well again, just as soon as we get past the house training bits.

Got the letter, and am working on a suitable response. (Actually, it's what reminded me that I hadn't made contact with the larger world for a while, and perhaps I ought to.) I need a bit of time to come up with amusing anecdotes, given how slowly life is moving these days. *g* For the last week, it's been all dogs, all the time.

So, hi back!
