And in other news: *hyperventilates*

Dude. Why did no one tell me that I needed to see The Tao of Rodney in order to live long and happily?

Because he... and then they... and then they all just... Boom. That is the sound of my heart breaking, and stitching itself back together in 3.2 seconds. Just... whoa.

Who wrote that, and what line do I need to get in to have their babies?

I have issues with that episode as a whole, but not in parts. :)

*pets*

See, being backlogged on the SGA was a good thing in a way you get uninterrupted love of all the episodes at once. A happy, happy place of happiness.

*points to the line* Although I can't remember that writer's name at the moment.

I am sticking my fingers in my ears and humming through the intelligent and perceptive discussion of what was wrong with it that I've seen here and there. I'm ignoring all sense and just wallowing in the happy like a pig in... wallowy stuff. *g*

Go, happy, go!

(Of course, then I recap and feel very silly, since there were obviously a bunch of bad things that I utterly failed to note in pursuit of the happy, but what are you going to do? *polishes rose-colored glasses*)

Back to the uninterrupted love!

No no, the rose coloured glasses are the way to go!
:)

*grin* I have my critical glasses on all the time, but that doesn't stop me watching now, does it? :) Noooooooo.

Go and wallow. Pigs are very smart creatures :)

That would be Damian Kindler, according to gateworld. He's also responsible for The Long Good Bye and Trinity. So make of that what you may.

Hee! Thank you!

He did Trinity, too? That should really not surprise me, all things considered. Hmm. Meta food. And officially more reason to erect the tasteful shrine.

*wanders off to check if there's anything else springing from his evil brain this season*

UM YES. JUST YES.

Oh Rodney. :X

Eeee! So much yes! There is so much in this that makes me go to the happy place. Enough, in fact, that there will have to be a real, spoiler-filled, totally nonsensical commentary. Probably broken here and there by phonetic approximations of the squeeky sounds I kept making at dramatic moments.

Short, spoiler-less ramblings cannot express my sheer delight. *g*

[identity profile] randommagic.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes! I watched that in a computer room, and I had to practically bite my tongue off to stop me making embarrassing noises. *g* Oh, Rodney *loves*

Also, hi! *waves* I friended you ages ago, but I don't think I've actually commented before!

I can't imagine seeing this one for the first time with an audience. My sister mocks me enough when I watch on my laptop and giggle. *g* You are a far, far braver lady than I.

And hi! It's always great to meet the people I've been rambling at for so long! *waves back*

Okay, so, I've only seen six episodes of the show, and even *I've* seen that one, because it is the AWESOME.

Erm, yeah. I still hate you people.

As for getting my feet wet...well, not any time soon. But I suppose anything's possible. Eventually.

Erm, yeah. I still hate you people.

But we loooove you! *g*

Only six!? Please tell me someone is doing their fannish duty and plying you with the rest. Otherwise I might need to get drastic and ship things at you. SGA is the cure for the (un)common thesis. (Which is going well, I hope? In case I don't remember to mention it anytime soon, good luck with all of it.)

And this one TOTALLY IS THE AWESOME! As [livejournal.com profile] iamtheenemy pointed out to me, the same writer was behind the (painful? fantastic? flaily?) ep Trinity, and knowing that makes this one all kinds of more interesting. Although, I would recommend holding off on seeing that one until you've got the build up to it (provided it's not one of the six); it's more satisfying with some history behind it. Rodney's big emo, moony eyes at John will carry more weight. *g*

[livejournal.com profile] yarngeek and [livejournal.com profile] sweetvalleyslut are doing so. But I am limiting my intake because I totally don't need a new fandom. Um, right. Well, whatever. So we are being discerning, and showing me good episodes, like McKay and Mrs. Miller.

Oh dear god. Well, the thesis was going very well, but then I went on vacation. (Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!) So maybe I do need more SGA, after all. ;)
