Supernatural
Say it with me now:
Oh. My. God.
I can't believe they just did that. This is why I love to be unspoiled: I sat there for a solid minute with my mouth hanging open and the intermittent sounds of high-pitched, stunned anguish hanging in the air.
I was just about thinking that for a season finale it was a little tame (well, for this show, anyway), and then... WHAM.
I can't believe they just did that.
*blinks*
Is it next week yet?

ETA: Just kidding about that no spoiler thing. If you don't want to know, don't look at the comments here.

They killed Sammy. How could they kill Sammy? He has to come back, right? You can't have only one Winchester, it doesn't compute.
Oh my God, Dean's face. His face holding his baby brother in his arms. *cries*

How could they. Just. I. *flail*
Sammy. I mean, Sammy. I am so, so glad I did not see the promo for this one ahead of time. They suckered me in wholesale, and I never saw it coming. They even cut to the knife, and I thought it was going to be a fakeout, or that Dean would be just in time. And then he wasn't. I stopped breathing for a minute there.
This cannot possibly be a permenant deal - not least because Kripke is a wise, wise man, if cruel - but while it does last, ouch. I'm with you all the way on the face... and the eyes in particular... and then there's the voice... *whimper*

What if he comes back wrong? What if it's a Pet Cemetery thing and he comes back and it's Sam but now Sam? How heartbreaking would that be?

*mouths things silently for a minute*
... gah! I mean... obviously Sam IS going to come back somehow -- the whole show is the dynamic between the two of them. But still, damn son.
They ARE finishing this next week, right? This isn't a summer cliffhanger...?
Also, sidenote: why do all the cute chicks on this show end up being evil? Just asking.

Yep. I saw a post recently that there are really three basic kinds of Supernatural episodes:
1. "Oh, Sam."
2. "Oh, Dean."
and 3. "Kripke, you magnificent bastard."
Naturally, any given episode may be a combination of any or all of the above. *g*

Mwahahaha. Mine is
an evila manic laugh. You'd think that would be a simple question, wouldn't you? But no. See, the ratings ain't been so grand of late, and the announcements about who comes back next year aren't until Thursday... So not only can I not tell you whether or not this week will wrap it up (because I am avoiding spoilers like the plague), there's the worrying prospect that poor Sam might stay dead a lot longer than a summer hiatus. Now, granted, this still seems like a long shot, but weirder things have happened. On UPN especially, which was notorious for axing its most promising shows. (Although I'm pretty sure Fox still wins on that one.)
As for cute = evil... *shrug* Maybe Kripke knows the power of the Bambi Eyes. *g*
Although, I never really trusted her. You can't turn your back on a secretary from Peoria, I always say. *sage nod*

I, too, figured she was probably going to turn out evil, mostly cos it just seems like the sort of thing that would happen. But I still must admit, despite being aware of their power, I'm nonetheless still a sucker for the Bambi Eyes. It's a genetic weakness, what with the Y-chromosome and all. *sniff*
In a related story, last week was not a good one for main characters of science-fiction dramas. You've really got to watch Lost, m'dear -- it's rather the only TV show I can think of that's ever had me actually (literally) spazzing around in little circles (really not kidding about that, sadly). I figure, even if it ends stupidly (which I don't think it will, but who the hell knows?), I'll at least be there to throw crap at my TV. Part of the experience, y'know?
Anywho, with the exception of tomorrow (flying back to Oregon), I've got a pretty open schedule this week. Gimme a ring when you've got some free time. :)
