Wyoming. It was bizarre; I was born and raised on the east coast, and yet the second I set foot out there I felt like I'd gone home. I really can't describe just how amazing it was.

Sharks and rays were definitely not something I would have seen myself investigating. I just go where the fossils take me :>

The tree icon was my panicked response to needing a picture when I first started on this LJ adventure. It's always been my favorite of Ansel Adams' pics, so I did a quick and dirty icon job on it. I got kind of attached, and so it's stuck around. On of these days I'll get creative and learn how to honestly make them. Right after I track down whoever made the "Artistic Cropping" one of Sheppard's hair and beg to steal it.
