Brace yourselves for spoilers:

They... they just... Danny, and Martin, and then the fade to black cliff-hanger of DOOM. OMG. Okay, I'll admit that the slow-mo shot of Martin behind the wheel in the promos made me suspicious, but I never saw this coming. This could either be very, very good or exceedingly bad. Good would be a full out boys-in-the-hospital, will-they-make-it? style season opener ending with them both recovering (in my world, they'd do that together, but then, I've always been a fan of pipedreams :> ). Bad would be one of them getting knocked off. I can't see them both leaving the show, so... Okay, need to go reset brain. Hopefully soon there will be some spoilers out there - I don't want to know too much, just whether or not to start mourning.

And on the subject of CSI... Woah. That was a big one. My one big complaint is that they wrote Greg as entirely too calm throughout, but then that gives me ficfodder, so that's alright. Grissom was wonderful - the forlorn, "I want my boys back" line pretty much broke me. Again with the woah.
